Iain Sim (Chair)
Iain has worked in the housing sector for over 40 years. He began his career in Scotland and moved through various roles culminating in becoming Chief Executive at Coast & Country Housing based in Teesside. A role he held for 16 years before his retirement in 2018.
Kevin Kelly
Kevin has held a number of executive director/FD posts across a 30 year career in social housing within the local authority and housing associations sector. He was until recently interim FD at Coast and Country Housing Limited working on the merger with Yorkshire Coast Homes. Kevin has over 10 years non executive director experience. He is a proven leader with extensive experience in governance and finance gained within the public and private sectors.
Zarina Naqvi
Zarina’s career started out in global companies in senior financial roles. She has built a business and sold it in 2001 since when she has worked as a management consultant growing private sector entities at board level and bringing commercialisation to the public and not for profit sectors. She is a Non exec director of the London Borough of Hounslow’s Facilities Management teckalcompanyCOALO Ltd and serves on the regional board of her professional association the Institute of Consultants, the Chartered Management Institute and advises on many other consulting related boards.
Andrew Newens
Andrew has worked in the health and social care sector for over 35 years and has extensive operational management experience of multi-site health and social care services. He has worked at Director level for over 20 years, most recently in the supported housing sector providing support for people with a learning difficulty or mental health issue. His experience includes troubleshooting and change management and he has a clear insight into local authority commissioning practices and regulatory compliance issues.
Steve Pearson
Steve has over 30 years of experience working in social housing and regeneration, with a unique range of experience at senior management, executive and non-executive levels. Steve’s experience and expertise includes, strategic asset management, housing development, new business development, housing management, supported housing and business planning.
John Higgins (Chief Executive)
John has over 20 years’ experience within social housing and care sectors. He has a wide range of experience at senior management and director level including strategic finance, housing and business development. He has held a number of non-executive positions including 11 years at Yarrow, a specialist Learning Disabilities support provider in London.
